Saying Goodbye.

Today we had the funeral of Mrs R’s father, Di. It was a beautiful day and due to the COVID rules they actually held it in one of the barns on the farm. It was just the sort of farewell Di, aged 97 , would have loved especially the inclusions of two lovely cobs who are on the livery yard at the farm.

A welsh man to the core he adored horses and farming and this was the perfect combination to celebrate a life well lived.

The flowers were on the wicker coffin and were just stunning. The colours were spectacular . A fond farewell to a terrific Welshman.

We also said farewell to Blackie our little Hebridean ewe lamb. Sadly she just didn’t make it. Her time with us was a happy one, but her very rocky start in life caught up with her. He buddy and fellow pet land Arnica is devastated. :-(

Farming - Another busy day  tanking ,compost hauling and maize harvesting. Same again tomorrow by the looks of things.

Evening was spent Zooming! For those who are not familiar with Zoom this is our go to for multiple communications for meetings. This evening was my second YFC AGM this week, and my first Zoom AGM. All went really well despite the strangeness of this new type of communicating! I am honing my Zoom skills every day!! It’s good for me.
