Down on the beach

We were out early this morning to have our flu jabs at the doctors.  It was all well organised and we had our temperatures taken then washed our hands and walked around a one way system suitable distanced to get our jabs.  We took a quick look at the beach on this sunny with a  cool breeze morning.  There were a few people swimming in the sea and as can be seen in the blip a fisherman.  It continued to be a mainly sunny day that became fairly warm.  I ventured out to the beach again in the afternoon as a friend happened to be in the area and we chatted over a takeaway cup of tea.  The sea must by now be pretty warm as there were a few groups of people swimming for some time.

Its our daughters birthday today and we had a quick video call with her before they went out to Hampton Court for the day.  They are also going out for a meal this evening, the first time they will have had babysitters (his parents).  They are probably lucky to have had this celebratory meal as Covid restrictions are being increased and are likely to be more restrictive in the coming week.
