Young Family

It was one of those typical ‘day after return from holiday’ days. Unpacking, laundry, getting organised.

It was a beautiful day, but it clouded over in the evening. I still went down to the lake. It wasn’t a beautiful sunset but I did enjoy watching this young family of swans. The cygnets are getting very big. I’m not sure why there were THREE adults?

They were way over on the other side of the lake but they always make a beeline for me when I stand there. They don’t really beg for anything. It seems they just want to say hello! Very sociable!
