Paused Shielding - Day 52

Social distancing in the park -  not the most dramatic of photos, but a record I wanted to make of the strange times in which we’re living...

Took the morning off and met up with a friend at the cafe in the park to pass on her birthday present (a bag of goodies in her favourite flavours: lemon, basil and marmite!). Then it was back to an afternoon of gardening: a neighbour helped me wrestle the pyracantha back onto the fence, mowed all the lawns, and then this evening a tree surgeon came round to give advice on our poorly Maple tree (he was here half an hour and didn’t charge a penny, more great service!). 24 degrees and not a cloud in the sky...
