Go through or Go Round?

This archway (or port) on Hill Street, Burntisland is part of (or associated with) the remains of Rossend Castle. The main building of Rossend castle has a basement dating from the 13th century. The building was bought in 1975 by the architecture firm Robert Hurd & Partners, who restored it and retain the building as their offices. However, when I passed it, work seems to be still ongoing today.

All I have to blip today - pressed for time.
