Young Robin

Dear Diary,

This little one must have been born early this past spring.  It is finally losing its white chest feathers.  There were 4 or 5 robins hoping around in my yard.  Robins usually migrate to warmer climes when the yard freezes and they can't get worms or insects.  But if there is fruit around, like there is in my yard, they will hang out longer.  They were a lovely sight and at this time of year, they match the trees!  We are heading for a stretch of Indian Summer now...lovely!
