Rainy days

Today as been a washout, pretty much non stop rain since about 8 am this morning.
You will have probably read me mention that I don’t like rain, Darren knows this and will take that in to consideration, but as a dog owner he knows he as a responsibility to provide me with daily exercise, rainy days provide him with a dilemma. It’s not often that we don’t go out at all, it would have to be bouncing it down for us to stay in with no walk at all. Today as we are at caravan there was less pressure but Darren still wanted a walk. There was a slight lessening of rain early afternoon, so off we went in the car to a little place near the River Ouse. Things were looking good for the first 5 minutes or so, but more steady rain began to fall, but we were out so we continued. I got quite wet and got a mucky belly too, Darren got wet too, though foolishly he was still wearing his shorts.
Not the most enjoyable of walks, but I’m dry, warm and sleeping now, so not all is bad :-)
