Farewell, Carob Tree

The Carob tree next to our bedroom window has been on the watch list since we first met our next door neighbor, an arborist because the trunk was hollow and rotting on the inside. Today our neighbor's guys took it down.

Thankfully, we had planted 3 trees in the front yard last June. We will have replacement shade soon. But it will take awhile to get used to this new look.
