Little and Large

Colchicum cupani bertolinii, a flower appeared today in one of the frames.  It's a tiddler so I picked one of the big ones that folk will be more familiar with for comparison.   Although it's only wee, colchicum cupanii proved a good garden plant in Norfolk so I am hopeful it will be OK here.

Ruth met up with an old friend who is visiting the railway.   Debs was on a day off from being a volunteer fireman today.  They wandered down to the sea then had lunch in King's cafe at Wharf station.   I did some tidying and sorting around the cold frames so the rear garden looks a bit smarter and the greenwaste bin is now full - again!
