Sgwarnog: In the Field

Patterns

For the moment, work remains convinced that there is no need to change the attendance patterns that we’ve been in since August, which means I am still going to be in for two or three days a week.

The number of Covid cases is shooting up in Leeds, so it seems inevitable that local lockdown will be introduced at the end of the week. And it’s no great surprise that the highest density of cases are in the areas surrounding the universities. Now that the teaching is getting underway the trains were also noticeably busier with commuting students in comparison to last week.

I’ve walked past this spot hundreds of times without spotting its potential for a photo. Perhaps it was the wet sheen from the rain which drew my eye to this pleasing alignment of architectural features. And it helps that the town hall is free of scaffolding again.
