It's a Girl Thing.

The Bossess was in a bit of a panic this morning as she had a morning meeting over the hill at Queenstown so was keen to get away. So she shot through and The Boss and I cleaned up after breakfast got the dog fed (my favourite job btw) and went up to his studio to turn things on and review the day. There was not a lot of reviewing required as Thursday is the DIG Photo coffee meet and as the images had all gone up 4 days ago there was probably going to be a lively discussion over coffer or whatever your choice is. He was delighted and pleasantly surprised when he found a big red envelope with a real Valentine card inside from his very bestest friend and was just getting ready to send her a text when the iPhone rang...in his hands...so to bark.

It was the Bossess, who was pleased that he was pleased about the card (Yes The Bossess is his very bestest friend) but had a small problem that she needed addressing with some degree of urgency. The Petrol gauge on HER CAR was on zero, "0" Zilch, Nada...well nearly so and she had visions in her mind of the motor stopping 100 metres short of her destination and her destination person (who I am unable to name because of the official dog silence act) who was probably wearing a large hair piece i.e. A big wig, and being very unimpressed with The Bossess's organisational abilities to look at the petrol gauge before setting out.

I recall as a puppy a similar adventure but car manufactures all over the world have long recognised this predominately female condition and have installed cunning little noisy things that warn you that you will run out just short of the next pump.
Mobile phone manufactures have also added to the technology in the form of a HELP button usually programmed to a male person.

Good things can come out of stuff like this and hence today's pic, which The Boss found 200 metres short of where The Bossess had stopped so they could swap cars.

Sigh.
