Brilliant dogs!

Scent dogs recognizing the coronavirus began working at Helsinki-Vantaa Airport on Wednesday. I believe that there is not yet too many that kind of scent dogs in the whole world. Atleast that was told in the news here.

The result given by a scent dog can be even more reliable than a standard corona test - hundreds or even a thousand dogs would now be needed though even in Finland.

For the passenger, this voluntary test works by sweeping a piece of a cloth around his neck and putting it then in a jar. The dog sniffs the sample. If the dog gives a positive result, the patient is referred to the airport health center.

These dogs have started their job on Wednesday and already found contaminations out of passengers.

Ps. 105 new Covid-19 cases today in Finland. Rates as in march-april, but contaminations still tracked. However you can bot be sure.
