Sgwarnog: In the Field

Meltwater

The Dipper had a fierce beck to work with today, with meltwater from yesterday’s hail storm still working it’s way through the system. Hopefully this is also helping to disperse the sediment from a pollution incident last week.

It was sunny but windy. A large branch had come down on one of my usual paths - it looked like it had only narrowly missed someone’s roof.

I spied just a couple of butterflies: Comma and Speckled Wood.

And the heating is on. I’d probably have battled on with another jumper, but the kids are with me for the weekend 18 degrees was just a bit too chilly for them.
