Call Me

I took a few snaps of this guy and was pretty made up when he crossed the road and stood beside the phone box. He was on his mobile and his trousers were red. What more could a girl ask for?

For those of you who are interested, last night's riding lesson was not without incident. All was going well up until the end of the lesson when the saddle decided to slip to one side. Luckily, I managed to stay on but it's a very funny feeling being on a horse and suddenly feeling yourself keeling over almost in slow motion. Apparently, the girth was very loose and I had done well to stay on for the whole of the lesson. I think that was very much testament to my core stability and yoga classes at the gym rather than good horsemanship if I'm honest! After my lesson, I led the Robster down to the stable block which is a short distance from the indoor arena only to find that I was the only one there and the place was in total darkness and I had absolutely no idea where the bloody lights were. It's a pretty big stable block so I decided that I would take the Robster half way into the top part and then try and feel around for the lights. That obviously didn't work. I then thought I'd try and find the Robster's stable in the dark (when I say "dark", I mean pitch dark!) and I did manage to get him halfway into the bottom part of the block but he (probably very wisely) decided he didn't like the dark and definitely didn't want to go any further. I stood there for a few minutes and thought the best course of action would be to phone my instructor who was still up at the indoor school and, just as I was about to dial her number, a car drew up outisde. Thank goodness thought I! However, it didn't occur to me how ridiculous it must have seemed to the person getting out of the car to hear someone calling from a dark stable block "Excuse me? Do you know where the lights are?" and holding onto a rather confused looking dappled grey horse. It's actually making me laugh out loud just typing this! What a numpty!

In other news, I am being taken out to dinner this evening to Chaophraya and very much looking forward to it.

Sending much love to you all on St Valentine's day.
