A first

I spoke to the Rotary Club of Dunoon at their weekly lunch in the Argyll Hotel.

It occurred to me walking over from my office in Argyll Street that I had never spoken to a local rotary club before, so this was a first.

The Dunoon club badge incorporates the Rotary International wheel and a birlinn, or traditional Hebridean Galley .

It is a good image in itself and as the President , in his introduction, mentioned my daily "blip" it seems appropriate to have it in pride of place today. As it happens I also blipped another boat from Dunoon on the same day last year.
