Amends made

I tripped on the stairs earlier this week, carrying tea up to Mrs B in bed.  My night attire in the summer tends to be a lunghi, a long cloth wrapped around me, and this was trailing too low as I mounted the stairs.  This caused me to trip and to drop a complete pot of tea on the stairs.

I made another pot, but a few days later we realised that the handle of the teapot was cracked, probably from the fall.  I then looked for a replacement, but none was to be found from all the normal retailers – the colour was obsolete.  I had to look on eBay for a replacement which luckily arrived today, intact.  Hurrah!
