A day in the life

Winter wheat

In swedish it's called autumn wheat. I've always thought it was strange to sow anything in the autumn, in mid september, do they really believe it's going to be ready for harvest before winter? That's not the point though, the point is to sow it early enough for the wheat to grow and to develop a root system. When the frost arrives it goes into a stupor but can be harvested much earlier than wheat sown in spring.

Second day with a cat. I'm not sure about this but the cat is very cuddly and demanding, like it hasn't had enough cuddles before. We're both learning to live under new routines, who knows where it leads us.
