If you can't beat them...

Hydrangea Blueberry Cheesecake

Clickychick was out all day running a course.   I pottered about doing various jobs.  I was lacking in inspiration as I wandered round the garden, currently we don't have much in flower.  I tried a few multi exposure shots, this one is made up of 4 exposures.

Blueberry Cheesecake caught our eye last year.  Like many (all?) hydrangeas the flowers change colour as they age.  Being a Lacecap Hydrangea (Hydrangea macrophylla normalis) it has the centre of tiny blue flowers surrounded by the showier pink flowers at the edge.   This is what give the plant its common name as in the past it was felt to look like a lace trimmed cap.
