Shifting Planes

Honing in on intimate scenes, searching more for interesting arrangements of line, colour and shape than subjects, I became intrigued by close up views of reeds, already showing signs of yellowing. I liked the shallow depth of field producing out of focus planes in front and behind. Eventually I found something that seems to work, placing all the detail over to the right.

Nearby, I came across tiny pink fungi spheres on a tree stump with interesting surface patterns.
