Pink Sky At Sunset

Sunset won out when it came to choose today's blip. It was a last ditch effort, after I ran back for the super wide. I had been using a telephoto beforehand which, being so heavy, precluded carrying my mid-range lenses.

I think I missed out on peak glow and the clouds higher up had lost some lustre leading to my 16:9 crop. This despite having tilted up slightly to capture more sky! The reeds on the left are leaning in a touch as a consequence.

I notice the foreground waves have a soft feel, which I rather like, resulting from the slow shutter, indicating how dark it was getting.

All in all, not too bad.
