THE PANSY LINE OVERPASS....

... busy day in Photo Groups!

This morning we had our Blackheath Photo Group on Zoom and having the "leader role" found I still have some things to perfect in Zoom, but we got by and sure has been a good way to keep the "door open" with the Covid-19 needs.

This arvo had an excursion for the Photo Group I started up here. The numbers have grown some, and they are keen to "learn" and use their cameras.
We went out to check out along the Redbank Creek and the over pass across the creek which I understand was built to take the train line called "Pansy line" over the creek "back when".
"The Pansy Line was the name given to the old Richmond to Kurrajong railway line, which ran from 1926 to 1952."
Everyone had a great time and the light was good giving some super reflections.

Enjoy and have a look in LARGE and check out some others starting here on Flickr
For some other info on the Line check here on the Kurrajong-Comleroy Historical society site.
