Synchronicity

Packed and then set off for Cornwall (I suggested 9:00, C said 10:00, we compromised on 10:30). But the delay worked to our advantage because it emerged that M and L were driving in to the Cotswolds as we were driving across it. We arranged a short detour and arrived at the pub that they were staying at at exactly the same time as them. They were there for a night away for M’s birthday and the first activity of the weekend was a walk along the river to the neighbouring village for lunch. We joined them and it was a really nice outing! We had a cup of tea with them and then left them to their lunch and walked back.

Arrived in Cornwall later than planned but well worth it!
