Cambridge Market & Great St Mary's Church

Today Mrs GOG and I went into Cambridge for a pre-planned St Valentine's lunch, but due to unforeseen circumstances finished up taking our grandson Oliver with us. Before lunching in John Lewis, we went for a brief walk in Cambridge passing through the market and here is a picture of the market and Great St Mary's Church taken during this walk. Lunch, while good, was not up to the same standard as last year. After lunch we took Oliver to Addenbrookes for his dislocated elbow, which was already in plaster, to be re-examined. The result of this re-examination indicates that he will need surgery. We eventually got home just before 1900 hours this evening. Overall, although the day was not a disaster nothing went as we had intended. We are planning a re-run on Monday and we hope that they will not wish to admit Oliver on that day and screw that up also.

This is not a particularly wonderful blip, but the insides of hospitals are not very photogenic and John Lewis do not like you taking pictures in their restaurant.
