Two in one

Most of what is left on my hydrangea bush is purple or green, looking fairly dry. But this bright blue flower had been growing for a few weeks, the only one that looks like the original flowers. I love its persistence, its tenacious ability to keep on keeping on. Again, something that gives me hope.

Tonight daughter Sarah is coming up for the presidential debates. I often have to turn these things off, but hopefully with her company we can get mad and do some yelling! Go Joe!!
