Blooming

New flowers appearing every day on Colchicum cupanii bertolinii in the cold frame, even with the rather variable weather.  Wet and grey almost wall to wall today. 

A three person, one dog household seems to be working ok so far.  During the meeting today Jamie made fudge and while Ruth and I were talking with the stand-in social worker and some of the folk who support Ruth on a day to day basis.   The stand-in social worker seems a breath of fresh air, so much so that we're hoping the other one doesn't return.   She can't promise to deliver the big changes that we need but she listened well and has suggested a video call with Ruth before another meeting next week, so she and Ruth can get to know each other a little.  That's a nice approach and gave Ruth a little reassurance.   Good.

Tonight I am giving my first Zoom presentation ..... on last year's trip to visit fellow blipper Hilary and the plants and places I saw in Switzerland.  Wish me luck!
