Playing with my husband's telescope...

Valentines day evening , what could be better than freezing your butt off outside with a telescope , a tripod , a DSLR and an iphone.
The DSLR and tripod were soon discarded as useless. I was unable to focus properly or focus it down the eyepiece.
The iPhone however was brilliant. Mr Julesey got much better photos than me. There is a bit of a knack to wiggling the iphone over the eyepiece.This was the best of my bunch.
We also saw Jupiter looking stripey with moons about it but none of those photos came out in focus.
