Crathes Castle

I fell in love with these 16th century painted ceilings in Crathes Castle in Aberdeenshire when we visited there on this day last year. We were very fortunate that our group consisted of just the two of us. We were shown around by a wonderful local guide who let us soak in the beauty of the interiors. She was so very knowledgeable - and patient.
