Day 192 The end of Summer

The end of Summer and by the looks of it the beginning of a long and difficult Winter.  I managed to get out to do a little birthday gift shopping with Mr MC's help this morning and this afternoon booked myself in for an appointment on Friday with a local chiropractor: thank goodness they are doing something other than virtual appointments!
In other news:Boris Johnson gave his 100th briefing from Downing Street flanked by the chief scientific advisor and England's chief medical officer.  The content was more of a pep talk really with nothing that we didn't already know and we were urged not to 'throw in the sponge' at this critical moment...  Happy days!
