Vintage 1964 Philips portable record player

I'm so pleased. I was given one of these for my 10th birthday and it was my prized possession. I've been looking for one for years, and only found it last week. It is everything I hoped it would be, looks great and the speaker packs even more of punch than I remember. Of the three Philips players I now have, it is easiy the best. It will be good for playing 78s which are nice and bassy. I was uprooted as a child and lost many of the things that were dear to me, so having this is great.
