Afloat

Loads of rain in the night left the seascape luminous - calm, reflective  with hints of mercury! 
In the afternoon we did the Cahergal loop - boggy underfoot but some amazing views. We came across this odd fungi which looked like a piece of salmon left poking up out of the grass. Any ideas?

We started watching The Comey Rule  last night , about events leading up to the last American election from an FBI point of views  - think Hillary Clinton emails and dodgy Russians. It was riveting and Brendan Gleeson as Trump hasn't even made an entrance yet. I'm so glad I'm not Director of the FBI (aren't we all, I hear you sigh).
