Red Admiral ..

.. or as it used to be called the Red Admirable which I think is a rather better name as there is nothing nautical about the butterfly - other than it migrates across the sea. Feeding on the ivy with a myriad of other insects, it was a reminder of Summer almost past.
I attempted to strim one of our terraces today and after my best (not very good) ministrations, one of the strimmers limped into action before coughing its, hopefully temporarily, last after half the terrace. My best efforts at tinkering with both strimmers produced not a splutter and so it looks like professuional help will be required.
