Mist in the Scottish Highlands

Torrential rain overnight. Glad to be tucked up in a castle with all mod cons. Heating superb. Had to get up in night to turn it off.
 
We spent the day exploring Pitlochry. Despite having lived in Scotland for many years we have never really drilled down and discovered it, partly because it’s almost on our doorstep, just over an hours drive away, and also because it’s inundated with tourists.

Corvid has changed all that. Now the visitors have gone and yes it’s bad for local businesses and we feel sorry for them but it gives a whole new meaning to being able to  discover an area at leisure.

Why go abroad when we have Scotland at our fingertips?
