Southland scores a try

Well I have had a different day today. I have never ever watched a game of league not even on TV but my thirteen year old great nephew was playing for his province in a tournament taking in four areas of the South Island. It was here in Pleasant Point being a midway spot for all provinces, so I the adoring great aunt went down to watch
Poor Charlie on less than 5 minutes had his leg hurt and was taken off so disappointing. Last game of the day they thought he was recovered enough to go on same thing happened. He made a blistering run heading for the try line when he was heavily tackled within a yard of the line and out went his knee I could have cried for him.
I was proud of his manners he came over and gave me such a hug and thanked me for coming to watch him
The extra is him, his dad and his younger brother he is going to end up so tall
5 hours travelling to get home they are all going to be so tired. It was nice to see them all
