Ten Dollar Town

Off to Mudgee first thing this morning to catch up with our friend, Marty.

We caught up, drank beer, visited a few wee towns, drank more beer!

Today's picture is of the Ten Dollar Town Motel in Gulgong which is famous for being the town on the ten dollar note! It is a tiny town and even on a Saturday afternoon it was quiet.....of the 6 or so people we saw, Marty knew half of them and was even related to one.....you can almost hear the banjos from here!

We also made sure to stock up on some chilli beef jerky from the butcher in Mudgee.....it tastes so good even if its not completely legal for them to sell it! Under the counter Jerky.....it's like Moonshine Jerky!
