I had intended another subject for my blip today, but early this morning the swimmers whatsapp was buzzing with the news of the passing of Derek Mahon

He wrote this beautiful poem and I wanted to share it you

The photo shows me early this morning - full moon in the sky and Her Worship delaying her arrival til 7.20am approx

It was a wonderful swim and I enjoyed my coffee from flask and apple turnover on the beach afterwards.

Btw Derek mentions me in his poem. How dare he call me a rogue! (Smiles from me)
