Day 279/20 Marathon Runner

Today my son-in-law Paul ran a marathon, mostly on his own. Adam and Laura ran/walked with him and provided the blister plasters and jelly babies. Anna rode with him on the final stretch and get him home. My role was to look after his daughters, which was easy.

This should have been his first London Marathon supporting Shooting Star Chase, a children's hospice that has supported Paul with his care of Max.

The marathon was cancelled but for the top runners.  Those running for the hospice were going to run from one hospice to another but that was cancelled a few days ago. Paul decided that he'd run a route to Runnymede and back to Staines - twice.
