More Poppies

Strange how poppies flourish in such difficult places, here the local quarry lakes. No wonder they are such a good symbol for the horror of WWI trench warfare.

Later in the year loads more garden type flowers will appear such as hollyhocks. Not sure how they got here.

Evening make an apple crumble and of course nothing better than Birds Custard even if the Best By Date is October 2000!
