Indoor pursuits

Woke in the middle of the night with the sound of torrential rain on the roof window. It continued all day, incessantly. Lottie had to be dragged out for a walk and the poor hens were not happy at all. 

At times like this, I bake!  Today it was a Border Tart, a granary loaf and a date and walnut cake.  I shall keep them hidden so Mike isn't tempted by them during Match of the Day!
