Decisions, decisions....

We went to look for wool this morning, special wool, Uradale organic wool, and it was well worth it. Hidden away up a farm track, in a beautiful spot with super views, a room in the farm house was full of wool, jerseys, gloves and knitting books.

We met the two women from the Netherlands who were responsible for designing the knitwear and they couldn't have been more helpful. So tempting to buy patterns and wool, but we were both pretty restrained!  The other folk in the shop were showing less reticence to part with their money!

A wander round Scalloway, a perfect bright sunny morning for it, coffee in the café and then outside blipper Miss Gable! A lovely surprise! She's busy chasing rare birds and came across us!

LadyF and I had a sociable afternoon in the WoolWeek hub at the museum back in Lerwick, knitting and chatting to others similarly engaged. It's a very relaxed and friendly atmosphere and great to see so many folk all doing different types of knitting, spinning and crotchetting, so many nationalities, so much chatter and sharing of ideas and information.

An excellent meal in the evening at Fjarå. Having a shellfish allergy, I have to keep my wits about me and they were wonderful. Five stars from me, highly recommended!
