Beached

Today turned out to be a nice day, mild and dry after a drizzly start. We started with a beach walk at the little village of Gorran Haven and then stopped off at the Menacuddle holy well and the Druid's Chair (see Extras), and the St Austell brewery. Later this afternoon we went for a wander around the harbour and part of the cliff path, checked on the cormorants (see Extras) and indulged in a little light retail therapy. Finally, we had a lovely meal of sea bass at the Harbour Tavern which, as the name suggests, overlooks the harbour.
