Morning mist on Morecambe Bay

There are going to be a lot of backblips in batches as I've been almost internet free for 2 weeks.
We decided to have breakfast in the hotel again and rather regretted it - though I did get this blip because of it. They didn't serve until 9.30 and it  had been rather slow the previous time but just about okay so I went for a run along teh Ulverston canal before breakfast and got some lovely views of the mist over Morecambe Bay, and the canal itself (it's less than 2 miles long).
we got our stuff packed and in mostly in the car before going into breakfast and, although there were only 8 people, it was atleast 40 mins before we got our porridge, no explanations and only an apology after half an hour, and only a pot of tea. A complaint didn't really help and we ended  up taking our toast away with us as we wanted to get away to our next destination.
This was a campsite near Warkworth in Northumberland, a basic site with plenty of space but limited pitches by the River Coquet.
A trip to Amble for a wander and shopping and a quiet evening "in".
