Elan Valley

We spent an enthralling afternoon exploring the Elan Valley with its Victorian engineered dams and splendid mountain and reservoir landscape.
This photo of the largest dam was taken from the road looking down into the valley. The sheer size of the landscape dwarfed our little camper van and made me glad to be safe inside as the rain lashed down.
Grateful for seeing Welsh mountains in all their beauty, driving around twisty lanes and enjoying a pint in a Welsh pub.
