Hens

After too many weeks of dawn till dusk work, I took advantage of a lighter day to hang out with this pair. Aoife (grey) has had a bit of a cough, but warm porridge every morning seems to be helping. Here they are trying to work out if my phone is food.

Trip out to the doc today. Turns out there having been no answer from her secretary service for weeks is because the call centre burnt down. Anyway she was happy to see us regardless, so Mr B has his magic elbow pills, and CarbBoy has what he needs to keep the school nurse from nagging him.

We took advantage of the trip out to visit the local gravel, err, shop? factory? centre? to order some gravel and, as though the day wasn’t already brim-full with excitement, I ordered a boot scraper.

Mr B produced a banquet for dinner, which I suspect we will be seeing again tomorrow as he is clearly still catering for a family of eight.

And it didn’t rain for the whole day, which was a pleasant change.
