Food Handout

You may be wondering what the fox was doing at 20.38 this evening, perhaps the extra will clarify.

We had a call from Miss Flum that a pigeon had flown into her patio door and, in all likelihood, had died. She wrapped it up warm in a box and left it to rest: sadly, that rest was to be forever. She wondered whether Hazel might like it.

Suffice to say, we were not keen on necessary preparation but duly collected it on the understanding that if Hazel does not wish to eat it 'as is', the foxes were sure to oblige with its disposal

And so they did, with no ceremony. One suspicious glance and it was grabbed and away.
