Another outdoorsy day, this time starting with a return to Menacuddle Well so that Mr DA could do a long exposure of the weir. While he was doing that, I had a wander along the river and saw a Dipper (see Extras). We saw one when we visited the other day too, which is quite exciting as we don't get them round our way. Also saw a nice dragonfly (also in Extras), apparently laying eggs on a tree trunk by the pond there.
Afterwards, we went to Pentewan beach where there were all manner of gulls enjoying themselves. And afterwards, back at base, I couldn't walk past the cormorants without taking at least one photograph (yep, in Extras as well) ;)
