All about the lake

We spent just under three hours walking to this lake today. It’s Lake Wastwater and as the crow flies, it’s just behind where we are staying. There was a lot of rain overnight and everywhere there was running water. We had to traverse several streams in stepping stones and elsewhere tussocks of grass were crossed. We lost the path ( which is in distinct) on more than one occasion but made better timing on our return. Two very wet pairs of boots and two pairs of damp socks each. I rather liked the shot in extra taken on our return journey. Only a short shower today, we were lucky.
