Lockdown

Central Scotland goes into lockdown on Friday. In reality it amounts to bars and restaurants closing for 16 days, and no going into other peoples houses.
Well, it’s a long time since we did any of this.  Like many older people we have put a self-imposed protective ring around ourselves, so it’s no great hardship.

We are the lucky ones. We realise though for many people it’s going to be hard and all the signs are that this is only the beginning.

Meanwhile we are adjusting to a new way of living with more and more of our lives going online. This evening I took part in a webinar, last night we listened to a talk given by Scottish Wildlife Trust on zoom and tomorrow I take part in a zoom meeting for an online course I am doing.  How did we manage without zoom?
