Funny old day. Emailed my boss to say that unfortunately no way I could return to work as planned on Tuesday. As the amount of painkillers, plus physical Immobility and pain would make me unsafe. I think a wise judgement
Nah, Mickey Mouse was furious, and phoned me to tell me so as I’d mucked uo his holiday plans. Inferring that he’d like me to retract
I didn’t and he tried to make me justify my reasoning.
I thought the word unsafe would have done the trick as in the medical word tis rather a red flag!
Disappointing and another strike for him which made me feel less guilty about being off.

Anyway, not the nicest start, MLD thereafter which wiped me out for the rest of the day. Managed a wee walk as the sun was coming down. Beautiful light
