Bomble's seat and my view

I was working at my desk with a large mug of fresh very strong coffee soon after getting up. Once Bomble has been fed early in the morning he likes to join us for a bit of company before he beds down for the day.

This is one of his favourite perches as he can see me and keep an eye on his world outside in the garden below. When he was younger the slightest wrong move by another cat in the garden and he would twitch before running downstairs and out to challenge the invader. Now he is content to just look, with hardly a murmur.

The light here was gorgeous with the scudding clouds from the south-westerly winds changing the view moment by moment. My camera is pointing due south.
