Back Again

Took the Gang to St Fillians where we went a couple of weeks ago. Bit cooler this time but still dry. The Wild brambles on the way up at side of the wood were bursting with sweetness so are quite a few. Ben and I were bringing up the rear as the ones with a lot to chat about! A Land Rover passes is with two dead deer stags in the back and Ben was quite upset but I explained to him that deer have no natural predators in Scotland unlike many years ago when we had wolves to control the numbers and they are destructive as in they eat the young shoots of trees and other grasses. Then he told me he was in tears last night watching a David Attenborough programme about a seal leaping off a cliff into the sea but there was no water and it thudded off cliffs and smashed into the ground below :(.

We also discussed how he believes in ghosts and some story about going into a room with no draughts and putting out your arms and you feel a presence and a breeze hitting your hands. And Cameron showed him a video about 3am - the witching hour and strange events happening. I’m not convinced Ben !

The view at the top was fabulous but we retreated to a sheltered area in the rocks as it was quite windy in this spot.

Walking down Ben sung me the whole words of a rap song by Eminem called Godzilla not sure how he remembers all the words and said there are two songs that have no swears in them. his mum has told him he’s not allowed to listen to Eminem any more but it’s too late. He loves Rap! I put on some rap that I liked from the 80s by Jazzy Jeff, but the mi it’s it played he said it was old fashioned rap :)

Stopped off at The Tea Garden at Comrie Croft for cake and coffee. Always a good spot but you e to hardy lads sitting here as it’s always been outdoors.

Evening, watched a fabulous film, would say one of the best I’ve seen recently called Green Card, a true story. I had some leaky eyes at the end. Won an Oscar last year.
